Kali Ogle is a highly experienced Senior Occupational Therapist who has worked in numerous clinical positions in the NSW public health services. While working in the public mental health system, Kali coordinated the intake team, providing acute services in the emergency department and community; was integral in the development of the first youth mental health service in the Sutherland Shire; established and ran multiple health promotion and education programs in her role as the community development coordinator and provided case management and rehabilitation services to young people with severe mental illness.
After almost a decade in mental health she took a senior position at Sydney Children’s hospital in rehabilitation team (Rehab2Kids) where she provided inpatient and outpatient case management services for children across NSW and the ACT. In this role she planned, oversaw the implementation of and evaluated of family centred, goal-oriented rehabilitation programs that enhanced the child’s functional performance, age-appropriate skill development, within their natural environments (home, school, workplace, sporting clubs etc.). Kali has worked comprehensively in both CTP and Lifetime Care systems. Her connections and knowledge of health services and providers from both states is extensive and invaluable in creating workable and effective rehabilitation programs for children and their families.
